For my fiction lovers out there

Matched Series

SO funny story about this series, I’ve owned the trilogy for a few years and let my cousin borrow the first one since she wanted to start reading. But thennnn, she never gave it back so I only had Crossed and Reached. Last month my mom said she had books for me (my favorite) and it was all three books! So now I have 5, but thats better than 2 right??

Good reads explained it way better than I could, so here is a helpful link: https://www.goodreads.com/series/52928-matched

Would you want to live in a world like this? Personally, I’m a little too rebellious for being constantly told what to do. Yet I get that ignorance is bliss and I wouldn’t know what I am even missing out on. What do you think?

The Matched trilogy is one of my favorite fantasy fictions. No spoilers but please read it so we can talk about them!!!

Rough day?

Here is a poem from Lang Leav’s “Sea of Strangers” 10/10 recommend this book.

This poem hit a sore spot considering it has been a longggg year for me, but I would like to think there is a bigger plan always. I lost one of my biggest supporters a month ago and am still coping ,so I love this specific poem because it reminds me that it happens to everyone and that I will prosper because I have to. Also, that 2019 is right around the corner.

Reading helps me ease my mind, what helps you on your long days?

If you wanted to read Sea of strangers you can order it here on amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Sea-Strangers-Lang-Leav/dp/1449489893

Welcome to reading with B!

My first image is in dedication to a great friend I lost just 3 weeks ago. This was his favorite Beatles quote and just a great quote to live by, this one is for you Ed.

My blogs is for those of us who grew up loving to read and have lost time, and want to take the plunge into that world again. My mission is to introduce some of my favorites to others in hope of inspiring someone to continue. Even if it’s just before bed to help you fall asleep or when you’re over whelmed with your day. It helps to read and escape for a little while, I promise! I chose to do a reading blog because I feel I often lack the words to express myself yet I find myself inspired by other people’s words on a daily basis. Join me on this reading journey!

Introducing me, Bianca. I loveeee books and quotes (my notebooks and planners are testaments of that), I can’t wait to share them with you!

This is an example post, originally published as part of Blogging University. Enroll in one of our ten programs, and start your blog right.

You’re going to publish a post today. Don’t worry about how your blog looks. Don’t worry if you haven’t given it a name yet, or you’re feeling overwhelmed. Just click the “New Post” button, and tell us why you’re here.

Why do this?

  • Because it gives new readers context. What are you about? Why should they read your blog?
  • Because it will help you focus you own ideas about your blog and what you’d like to do with it.

The post can be short or long, a personal intro to your life or a bloggy mission statement, a manifesto for the future or a simple outline of your the types of things you hope to publish.

To help you get started, here are a few questions:

  • Why are you blogging publicly, rather than keeping a personal journal?
  • What topics do you think you’ll write about?
  • Who would you love to connect with via your blog?
  • If you blog successfully throughout the next year, what would you hope to have accomplished?

You’re not locked into any of this; one of the wonderful things about blogs is how they constantly evolve as we learn, grow, and interact with one another — but it’s good to know where and why you started, and articulating your goals may just give you a few other post ideas.

Can’t think how to get started? Just write the first thing that pops into your head. Anne Lamott, author of a book on writing we love, says that you need to give yourself permission to write a “crappy first draft”. Anne makes a great point — just start writing, and worry about editing it later.

When you’re ready to publish, give your post three to five tags that describe your blog’s focus — writing, photography, fiction, parenting, food, cars, movies, sports, whatever. These tags will help others who care about your topics find you in the Reader. Make sure one of the tags is “zerotohero,” so other new bloggers can find you, too.
